What Is the Hollow Roblox Event? Full 2026 Explainer

What is the Hollow Roblox event? Roblox's 2026 Halloween survival event explained: its nine nightly monsters, who could play, and every UGC reward.

The Hollow is Roblox’s platform-wide survival event for Halloween 2026 — a shared horror experience that ran for nine nights from October 22 to a live finale on October 31. Each night unleashed a new monster inside a growing maze and a themed quest inside one of nine popular horror games, and every challenge paid out exclusive UGC items and badges. If you heard players talking about “The Hollow” over Halloween, this is what they meant.

What Is The Hollow in Roblox?

The Hollow was a shared, platform-wide survival event built to celebrate horror games, one of the most popular genres on Roblox. Roblox announced it on October 21, 2026 as a Halloween event in the same family as the platform’s other big seasonal events — it follows the formula of Roblox The Hunt and arrives after the success of the previous Halloween Spotlight.

Importantly, The Hollow was never a single experience. It was a central event hub connected to nine well-known horror games across the platform, with each game hosting its own themed quest during the event. The name covers both the event itself and its setting: the Hollow, an abandoned movie theater whose maze grows increasingly unsettling as the event progresses.

The event was open to anyone with a Roblox Select or Roblox account, aimed at players ages 9 and older in most regions. Exact ages and access varied by region, which Roblox flagged in the official announcement.

How the Event Works

Launching the event dropped you into a destroyed floating city, with Bloxhilda’s Plaza looming in front of you as the hub — nearly everything happened there. The plaza held a shop for exploration gear and avatar customization, portals that teleported you into the participating games, a theater where you could watch streams with other players, and the elevator that carried you up the maze floors to unlock relics.

Each day for nine days, a new maze opened inside the Hollow with a new monster prowling it. Your job each night was to search for clues, find the floor’s puzzle room, solve it, grab the relic, and make it back to the elevator without getting caught. Maze layouts reshuffled on every entry, so memorizing a route was pointless — you explored fresh every time. Getting caught reset your progress, but retries were unlimited.

Alongside the maze, every night featured one of the nine horror games with a special quest of its own. These ranged from escaping the DOORS Candy Vault before a 20-minute timer expired to collecting 200 pumpkins across Dandy’s World matches. Clearing a game quest meant returning to the hub and claiming a second daily reward at the display next to that game’s portal.

Quests of both kinds paid out Tickets, the currency the plaza shop accepted for survival gear and avatar items. Roblox Plus subscribers got extra perks: early access to the hub two hours before the official opening, an exclusive profile frame and background, and an item launcher for gifting items to other players during the event. Plus subscribers could also keep the event theme beyond the finale. Creator champions played inside the Hollow daily via livestream — LimaMosca, KreekCraft, Bundun, and SirDapper all streamed clue-hunting runs to help players survive another night.

All Nine Monsters and Their Games

The hook of The Hollow was its roster: every night added a monster borrowed from one of Roblox’s biggest horror experiences. Here is the full lineup as it appeared night by night:

Night Monster From
1 Seek DOORS
2 Twisted Dandy Dandy’s World
3 Biter Demonology
4 The Deer 99 Nights in the Forest
5 Hiachi The Mimic
6 Mimic Animal Hospital
7 The Inspector Scary Shawarma Kiosk
8 The Overseer Warden
9 Piggy Piggy

Each monster patrolled that night’s new maze floor and changed how you moved through it. Seek chases you through an endless-looking lobby on the first floor, while Twisted Dandy haunts a floor that reshuffles into a playhouse. Hiachi from The Mimic gives herself away by singing, so you hear her before you see her, and the Animal Hospital Mimic makes the floor darker the closer it gets to you.

The late-event monsters were just as distinct. The Overseer’s floor 8 turns the entire maze red and sends you back to the lobby if it catches you, resetting all progress. Piggy closes out the run on floor 9, where pulling the wrong lever makes noise that draws her straight to you.

Every floor hid one puzzle room with a relic to steal, and solving all nine floors plus all nine game quests was the path to a complete reward collection. You can find every puzzle solution in our full Hollow walkthrough and the per-floor breakdowns in our floor puzzles section. The portals outside the theater connected to more games beyond the nightly nine — see the full list in our participating games roundup.

Rewards: UGC, Badges, and Tickets

The Hollow paid out on two tracks every day. Clearing a maze floor’s puzzle handed you an exclusive UGC avatar item and a badge; finishing that night’s featured game quest handed you a second UGC reward. Floor rewards included items like the Lord Umberhallow BLOXikin shoulder pet from night 1 and Telamon’s Ghoultry Suit from night 9, while game quests paid out pieces such as the All Seeking Antlers from DOORS and the Hiachi Grin Mask from The Mimic.

Every completion also added a badge to your Roblox profile, so the full event was as much a collection grind as a survival challenge. Quests of both kinds paid Tickets into the same wallet, so simply working through the daily content funded your gear purchases at the plaza shop.

Beyond quest rewards, Marketplace sold new and familiar Halloween-themed avatar items for a limited time during the event, including the Hollow Horseman, dozens of exclusive avatar items, and new seasonal makeup looks. For the complete prize list, browse our UGC rewards section.
